The Hat has the holes coming to Grimsley High in March to do one of their practices. Open to eveyone with free Bonjangles. Not a bad idea, I hope DD takes alook at that.

Due to the 'Canes - Flyers hockey game following this year's Kay Yow Spring Game, regrettably we will be unable to offer the traditional postgame on-field meet and greet with our team and coaches.

In an effort to reduce traffic and parking congestion around Carter-Finley Stadium and PNC Arena, we are requesting that fans exit the stadium immediately following the conclusion of the game.

More details on this year's Meet the Pack event will be announced in the coming weeks for your chance to meet the football team and coaches at Carter-Finley Stadium.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We should propose a new stadium on the remainder of the Dix campus.  A state of the art facility that includes a moveable configuration so that it can seat up to 30K for big demand basketball events and as little as 18K for smaller demand events.

Perhaps a floor that drops into a seated basement level or two ends that move along tracks exposing more seats!  I'm sure the General Assembly will pop for it - can't cost more than a billion dollars.  biggrin

On top of that, we can have a light rail system that will take people from downtown, to the stadium, to NC State's campus and then loop back around.  Fun for all!
I like the athletic type.

my initial thought is the NHL strike rearranged the schedule

due to players reunion, NC State has tried to hold spring game the Saturday before the NFL Draft since it allows current pro players to visit. otherwise they are in off-season "voluntary" workouts
