Boston College at PNC on Wednesday at 8pm (ACCN-split/espn3)

Hey guys it's time to move on. We have 4 very winnable games and it starts with BC at home on Wednesday at 8pm. We have a chance to still get 4th place, 3rd with a bit of help. I personally feel good about BC at home then at GT followed by WFU at home and close with FSU on the road. I see 22-9(11-7) with the only loss at FSU but you never know.

Unfortunately, we will need help. That being said, we should win our home games very easily. The problem will come in the fact that we can't win road games quite as easily.

If we can just finish with 11 wins, we should be in 4th place barring anything weird happening. That being said, the team has to 'show me' that they want it. People have to call each other out.

need to win out. Anything less than 4-0 is unacceptable.

How exactly do you see 11 wins getting us a 4th place bid? Virginia is going no worse than 3-2 over their last 5...which would leave them with 11 wins and the tiebreaker.  UNC only has to win 2 of their remaining 4 to get to 11, which they will do easily. We need to win out to even have a remote chance at a Top 4 seed...even then, I don't see us passing UVA or UNC.

If they lose to Duke again...What would be the tie-breaker if we had one with UNC?

If State wins out, and UNC-CHeat only loses to Duke, then they both would be 12-6, and State would win the tie-breaker: State 0-1 vs MIA and 1-1 vs Duke; Cheats 0-2 vs MIA and 0-2 vs Duke.

This is our best chance scenario to get top 4.

Normally, about this time of year, you are glad that your freshmen are playing like sophomores.
Not for us.  We are still waiting for our juniors to play like sophomores.
Until then, we will continue to be disappointed.

You guys need to chill with all the 4th place or better scenarios. It's called taking care of your business first before worrying about any of that. Win the game, get to 20 wins, worry about the next one. That's the formula for these last 4 games, just win. Pretty, ugly, at the last second doesn't matter. Just put a W on the board and things will work themselves out.

I can think of a hundred things I'd rather be doing in Chicago than watching State/BC on a laptop.

At this stage of the season, you should know better than to set yourself up like this.

Hopefully, we can win out.  Does anyone know how the tie-breakers workout.

UNC and UVA probably lose 1 more game, so I can see all of us having a 12-6 record.

They are at least 100 drive by routes that would be more exciting than that game.

I wish we'd have won yesterday, but at now our fans don't hafta worry about the letdown we always have after beating the holes or dookies.  I've believed that our losses have brought forth some learning and experience that will help us at the end of the season.  Though disappointing, I hope I'm right!!

Never giving up until we're done!!

I see no way to think that this team can win true road games like they should which make @GT and @FSU toss ups.   I think they will finish 10-8 or 11-7.

I feel good about all 4 games. We have a very realistic shot at 4-0 and I think the sense of urgency may propel this team to such a record to finish the reg season.
