yeah, it's sort of a weird shot but it sure goes in a lot!

He was in the right place @ the right time so many times last night - appears to have a very high BB IQ!
Warren has a good sense of knowing which way the ball is coming off the rim. He's also just damn good at finishing at the rim.

Great game by TJ.  Hustle pays off!!

Regarding N.C. State freshmen going for 30+....didn't Ernie Myers deliver a game or two of 30+??

RE: TJ Warren...

The scoring has been there before, the rebounding (8 offensive, 5 defensive) is what I'm most impressed with. Easily last night was the most complete game of his career. If he can keep it up, this will make us a totally different team.

Is this team starting to peak at the right time? We must beat the Heels this weekend and roll in like gangbusters into the ACC/NCAAT.

definitely, like FL mentioned above, I loved his hustle!

1 play he went after the ball when 2 Noles appeared to have it, I just appreciated his effort so much last night. Those guys played hard last night!

CJ was causing TO's for the Noles too!

Re: TJ Warren...

TJ wanted it last it as did the team.
That was the difference. They came out with energy on D and went after loose balls and rebounds.
I was trying to remember the last time Scott dove on the floor for a loose-ball.
TJ wanted the ball so he went after rebounds.
He has high skills for a freshmen. I loved when he got bumped and finished with his left hand for the and 1.
An ACC Title is within reach.

...will be going to the NBA NEXT year if he continues to put up #'s anywhere near what he did last night when the post season begins!

I was very surprised to see him do this as well.  Scott even slashed to the basket a couple of times. The passes never connected but it's good to see the team finally breaking out of their total predictability on offense.

If he does that, GREAT!  That means we had a deep run in the tournament, and I'll take it in a heartbeat.

That being said, I doubt he goes to the NBA.  This is the first game that he's shown any kind of knack for rebounding, at all.  Plus, he definitely has some freshman fat on him still.  Needs to get a bit stronger and leaner and prove he can be a consistent rebounder.  Once he does those things, lottery pick.

He's Paul Pierce. Deceptively athletic, very effecient. Crafty. Knows the game.

RE: TJ Warren...

Its interesting CJ leslie cannot really go left, or have I just not been watching him at all? He counts on out jumping or quicking you. When he doesn't do this,  he says he was fouled, which he is often times. Then Warren does a cross over and drives the lane lays up a left handed shot and a touch/bump is called?

Leslie gets throw to the floor and nothing. Maybe he should try one move and shot or kick it out.

Warren can score on you from so many different postions and angles, hes a terrible Defensive assignment. He put on a clinic last night.

TJ moves well without the ball...gets a lot of easy baskets because ot it. Its becoming a little bit of a lost art with todays players. Warren is kinda old school.

RE: TJ Warren...

Ernie scored 35 against Duke in Reynolds his freshman year in 1983. No freshman in the ACC had ever scored that many points against another ACC team at that time. I don't know if that record has been broken since.
