Tip of the hat to Gottfried for recognizing a good matchup and starting Warren.

It has been too long since we had a win that easy at the end. A long time.

Leonard Hamilton got outcoached. Why did he not try to pressure us in the last 4 minutes? He just let us run clock. Crazy. But I'll take it. Go Pack.

Lastly, I'll admit I've been hard on Purvis. When Gott was recruiting Rodney, you guys know I took a lot of flack from posters when I said I like Terry Henderson's game better. I pointed out obvious flaws in Purvis' game and we've been seeing those same flaws all season and that's why I say he's not in a slump. He just has to improve his touch around the basket and that probably will not happen until next season. Don't know that it was as bad, but I remember Zo getting into the lane a bunch as a freshman and having almost as tough a time finishing. Hopefully Purvis will get stronger and work on shooting those shots on balance and in time he'll be a reliable as Zo around the basket. No, Zo was pretty good at finishing. Ryan had a problem, though. I guess my memory's foggy, but I remember Zo having trouble finishing strong.
Harrow HAD trouble finishing and still has trouble finishing by the way. He's got issues. Maybe it's my memory that's foggy. But I seriously not remember Zo missing wide open layups. MOF, I don't ever remember a player missing as many layups.

I think Zo came back better from his injury. IMO sitting and watching a few games really helped him, he seems to be more under control and plays smarter. He is playing like a true PG now.
Did I hear Whitt say that CJL was going to be playing on Sundays?

Most complete game of the year. Yes, I know we also beat #1 Duke and that was also impressive. But this was 100% domination from start to finish. That's the NCSU team we expected to see all year. Better late than never? NCAA is wide damn open. Anyone can go in and win and if we keep playing like we did tonight.....

Ok. The refs were horrible tonight. As usual. They were not bad- but I'm sure WolfDac didn't understand that, either. Not did any of the others that still think refs work come from the ACC- not the NCAA.

Good game guys! Not a perfect game but a solid overall effort.
Kudos to TJ Warren and Zo for really hitting the boards hard. Some great passing from Zo, Richard and CJ.
Rodney's going to be a great player in a couple of years when he finishes those shots at the rim. We could real fun team to watch with Lewis, Barber, Purvis, Warren and Washington/Anya.

Twice I stood and applauded in front of the TV tonight. Both times, Calvin got the ball down low and passed backed out. I almost had heart failure the first time.
Still wiping my eyes in disbelief. If Leslie starts passing out when 4 guys collapse on him, NC State will win games... will win MANY games.
