Give our admin folks some credit of forethought if this is true. In addition, the SEC isn't going to let the fastest growing and one of the most populated areas/states in the southeast not be represented with their brand.

Regardless of what happens, I think we are going to be just fine.

You can't find a credible source for this alleged offer because there isn't one. Doesn't stop the overly guilible from believing it though.

The fact is UNC was offered B1G membership and they turned it down. No inside info. Just common sense and logic.

If you think the the B1G would take MD (and Rutgers, lol) over UNC or UVa I have ocean front property in Goldsboro to sell you. The B1G took MD not because they wanted them. They took them because the Twerps were the only school they could get to jump.

I know UVA and UNC (and MD)are not football powers, but I can't see where adding Big East basketball schools to replace them gives the ACC an advantage in the big money superconferences stakes. There's a reason ND is not in for football, yet.
