If there is truly an OFFICIAL offer, then they are gone. No way the B10 would risk the embarrassment of being turned down. They would have asked UNC quietly and already gotten the answer before offering anything official.
That being said, I would be absolutely stunned if the Holes left the ACC. The entire ACC office is a UNC good 'ol boys club. Trust me, I know this personally from extended family. Y'all don't realize how deep the UNC ACC network goes.
If they leave, it's because they know the ACC is a dead man walking.

U*NC and Delaney are in for a rude awakening if they think Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska, Mich St et al will allow themselves to be pushed around like the ACC patsies have. UNC is certainly arrogant enough to believe they'll be just as good in Big 10, but I think it would be an idiotic move on their part. We would prob end up in SEC if that block of UF, USC, UGA keep Clemson/FSU out. They would prob go to Big 12. If that block doesn't hold up, SEC prob takes Clemson and FSU and we hope the Big 12 takes us. Duke would probably sign on with what remains of ACC/BE and maybe that group of catholic schools that left BE. The others, who knows? Those are just my guesses. I certainly have no knowledge of what is going on behind closed doors.

After all the support and preferential treatment the ACC has bestowed upon them, it would be the biggest slap in the face in history if the Holes left the conference. This cannot be true. If it is, then all the backstabbing, in-it-just-for-us stereotypes that UNC is known around here for, and the Carolina Way myth, is proven absolutely, 100% true. It would hurt the conference and NC State beyond repair if they bolted and I, personally, will hate them soooo much more than I already do.

If true Yow better be talking to the SEC. I wonder if NCSU has been allowed to talk with anyone. In the past, State would not be allowed to do so unless it was in the Best interest of UNC first. Now State could be left out to dry if the ACC folds.
