$$$ Island Amazing how he doesn't even look like he is running hard in that picture getting beat like that in such a huge game. LOL what does running hard look like in a still picture? You can learn a lot from a pic; since the ref is ahead of him - I can only conclude that ref runs a sub 4.38 40

UNC-CHeat men’s basketball team took no-show classes until fall 2009..and then they suddenly developed other interests? That's it?? Were these magic student advisors? Do NCAA laws cease to exist on your campus?

Re: "Official" NFL Combine thread
Wolff killed it at the combine, and Amerson helped his stock as well. Good for them

RE: "Official" NFL Combine thread
If you look at the State player NFL combine numbers from last year versus this year there is a huge difference. Don't know if its just due to the individual players or due to Edmonds. IMO it's Edmond. Wish he had stayed at State in some capacity. Anyone know where he is at now?

He’s signed through June 30, 2014.

I think it is more the players but I am sure Edmonds helped them. Amerson and Wolff are freak athletes - Zach was always a beast and probably one of our best linemen until he got hurt. Official times, both Wolff and Amerson at 4.44 in the 40 yard dash.

That said, I'm guessing Cordell Patterson must run a 3.65. Patterson ran a 4.42, but I'm pretty sure he did run a 3.65 against us

Re: "Official" NFL Combine thread
Female kicker set for combine tryout "I am working hard to prepare but I am also realistic about my chances," she wrote in an email. "I hope my willingness to put myself out there inspires others to seize opportunities and challenges. The support from around the world has been so heartening." Her goal for the weekend is a true long shot: perfect 60-yard field goals.

This company gets it done. They worked with about 30 guys this year and had 4 of the 5 fastest DB 40 times. I have seen pics of what Amerson looked like when he showed up to work with them and what he looked like before the draft. Its amazing what they can do in such a short amount of time.

There are people out there that know how to do things the right way and are very good at why at they do. Given the pay of S&C coaches it is not always in the best interest of these people to work for a University paycheck. This is why guys go to private companies to get draft ready rather than do all the work at their schools.

RE: "Official" NFL Combine thread
It's funny that there is really a whole industry that has popped up around prepping athletes only for the combine drills. Not to actually improve your skills as a player but to perform better at drills.
