I need a little more information here before I pass judgement.
He SHOULD have filed an NC income tax return, based on his employment, and that he earned most of his income in NC.
However, where did he claim permanent residency?
It's not like he didn't pay any NC taxes, due to the withholding. Heck, he may even be eligible for a refund.
Let's hear some more before we blast the guy, ok?

That's weird, when someone files federal, they usually file state at the same time. Why would intentionally not submit one? Unless he didn't file federal either ...  |

I would think the State would have sent a few letters of non-compliance before they resulted to an arrest warrant. He's either foolhardy as hell or he thinks he has a valid reason to not pay what the State says he should pay.
