Before the 87 ACC tourney finals against UNC, we had breakfast that morning at the Courtyard Marriot in Landover. All of the tourney refs were staying there. We sat beside ACC ref John Moreau, his wife and kids. All his family was sporting UNC gear. Thankfully he did not ref in the final game. It sure did not instill confidence in his calls.

I had a weird dream last night that Hess was reffing the NC State @ UNCheat game. The game ended with all our starting lineup getting tossed, then Hess running over to the NCSU fan section, jumping on a table, and giving them the finger... but he had six fingers... and all of them were bobbleheads with alternating light and dark blue uniforms...
I may need help.

I may need help. If you seen any of my post in various threads, I to feel like he will "ref" the UNC game. I beleive the only guarantee from the Swoff/Front Office was he would do none of our home games. A girl I grew up with (and big *unc fan) said ol' Hess stopped in to Omega Sports where she works after one of the *unc games a couple months ago. Bought several items worth a few hundred bucks. Paid in fresh cold hard cash. I told her sounded pretty damn sketch to me!

 that's Hess wearing the hockey mask. I remember sitting a couple of rows behind our bench at Reynolds once when we played Clemson back in like 86 or something...anyways, there was a stoppage in play, tv timeout or something...place gets pretty quiet...I yell as loud as I can at Lenny Wertz who was standing under the basket. "Hey Lenny!! You suck!" He looked over...and then the game started back up.
