FSU game: students not attending
Just got an email from the ticket office stating that students were absent in picking up their tickets so there is a 2 for $44 special, WTF? Our students can be so slack sometimes!

RE: FSU game: students not attending
Lol the students are the least of our worries. The corporate seats midcourt that everybody would love to have but stay empty are what pisses off 99 percent of this board. These are the upper deck tickets they give students. It's not a big deal.

It's not Duke or ewenc* and they may have to study.

RE: FSU game: students not attending
You do realize that the game is on a weekday in the middle of the semester, right...?
Most people have to study/prepare for tests. We're not UNC with fake classes and whatnot.

RE: FSU game: students not attending
Getting close to mid-term time. I know I have tests this week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday...
(ETA: No way in hell 3 tests this week will stop me from watching the Pack play.)

Re: FSU game: students not attending
It's not that they weren't picked up, they just weren't requested. It's a shame we lost to Miami because only 53% of students that requested tickets received one for that game. Get on another winning streak and the last few home games should be full.

Re: FSU game: students not attending
Our schedule has been favorable this season with so many of our Home Conference schedule being on the weekend. All the big ones were, Dukies, Kerlina, The U were on the weekend.

IMO, the students have been better this year than in quite some time.

Absolutely which doesn't make sense why there would be a low turnout for this game.

RE: FSU game: students not attending
Students need to get their priorities straight IMO:
1. Social media 2. Message board posting 3. Attend the game 4. Thinking about studying
A soft, coddled bunch we have today.

Re: FSU game: students not attending
The students and general population have been very good this season as expectations were very high and our results have been enough to keep people interested. The noise levels have been great so the memories of old Reynolds keep fading as we improve our program.

A kid might make an exception for a rivalry game. For the record I'm taking a class myself and I'm the father of a Nc State junior

I've heard it plenty lately, so I guess it was on the top of my mind.

I was a State student that supported the crappy Lowe era teams. We deserve more credit than this year's fans. Easy to cheer for a team that beats Unc and Duke.

A soft, coddled bunch we have today. I didn't have 1 and 2 in the late 70s. Maybe that's why I graduated. Nothin' else explains it.

Just an FYI but do students have to pay for parking?

RE: FSU game: students not attending
^ No. I graduated 4 years ago and all we did was either show student ID, show student ticket or even just say to the people we were students.

Went to State from 05-09. Talk about heartbreak. I still get mixed emotions of wanting to cry and laugh uncontrollably when someone mentions Gavins 4 loss season.

I felt sorry for many graduating classes during the period of athletic purgatory.
