Wow. Packpride at its finest.
It's amazing to me all the animosity on this thread in terms of scumbag, pos, etc. Why is it that some on here vilify MJ for his personal choices in life yet we hold DT in the highest regard possible? Double standard folks. Admit that he is the greatest to ever play and move on. Would have been really cool if he went to State. Sir I think there is a rule that when you mention D---- T------- on here you has to pay him a thirty Dollar fee.

On the other hand, this kind of comment is the kind of thing any fan would be ashamed to be associated with. This is pathetic. I have never liked MJ because he played for the Heels but its not personal. Grow up.

Re: ESPN - 'Michael Jordan has not left the building'
Unfortunately, Michael racked up gambling debts and his Daddy had to leave the building. If this offends you, then deal with it...I don't feel pathetic in the least bit. Jordan is an ****** who has been VERY successful in life, yet he has done NOTHING to give back to society. He is a womanizing slime bag who spends all of his time playing golf when he could do so much more.

RE: ESPN - 'Michael Jordan has not left the building'
With Jordan looking on from the end of the Charlotte bench, the Bulls jumped out to a 38-19 lead midway through the second quarter and never looked back. Jordan, the Bobcats owner and former Bulls star, left his seat with about 3 minutes left in the first half and didn't return. scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=400278533

The announcers gush about LeBron, mentioning him in the same sentence with Jordan, who hears every word. Those words have an effect on him. He stares at the TV and points out a flaw in LeBron's game. "I study him," he says.
When LeBron goes right, he usually drives; when he goes left, he usually shoots a jumper. It has to do with his mechanics and how he loads the ball for release. "So if I have to guard him," Jordan says, "I'm gonna push him left so nine times out of 10, he's gonna shoot a jump shot. If he goes right, he's going to the hole and I can't stop him. So I ain't letting him go right."
For the rest of the game, when LeBron gets the ball and starts his move, Jordan will call out some variation of "drive" or "shoot." It's not just LeBron. He sees fouls the officials miss, and the replays prove him right. When someone shoots, he knows immediately whether it's going in. He calls out what guys are going to do before they do it, more plugged into the flow of the game than some of the players on the court. He's answering texts, buried in his phone, when the play-by-play guy announces a LeBron jump shot. Without looking up, Jordan says, "Left?"
He should pass that scouting report to the rest of the league.
If Jordan could only evaluate talent the way he thinks he knows LeBron, maybe the Bobcats wouldn't be a damn joke. So are you saying McRoberts isn't HOF material????????????

It's also funny to see the hero-worship some people have for athletes just because of their athletic skill.
Did anyone watch his HOF acceptance speech and not think he was a jerk afterward?
In his defense though, he's been a great manager!

There has been evidence that it was because of MJ and his gambling that was the cause of his fathers death but they did not pursue. As far as MJ and being the best.....well when you were given every cal, every advantage and a coach in Phil Jackson ... along with giving Pippen all kinds of leeway in his play along with the rest of the Bulls. Well he was made to be greater than he was. The NBA has to have an heir to the NBA throne to replace the Celtics/Bird and Paired/Johnson era. So they combined with Nike to promote Jordan. Now it is LeBron and Kobe...

I recall that MJ's father pulled off the road to sleep off a late night party he had just attended and some young hoods did him in. At least those were the news reports from that time. If anyone has later news then go for it.

Really? Like what? What evidence other than a bunch of conspiracy theories drummed up by the anti Jordan crowd? Let me guess....the 2 guys that killed him won't talk and are spending life in prison because they are afraid of the mob right?
