I would love to hear the ref's explanation for that one.

There's a difference between bad refs and stupid refs.

These refs were stupid

How in the world did we leave Eddie open that many times at the end of the game? Was that by design to dare him to shoot?

At least this team is used to playing in tight games.  Should be ready come tournament time if it matters by that point.

I agree.  Some of yall need to stop trying to be doomsday predictors and just get behind the team.  It doesnt make you look smart when we happen to lose and it makes you look like a ******* when we win.  Just support the team and enjoy the game.

A few years ago State would have lost a game like this. Some of you act like State has been good for years. This team has a ton of expectations on it (unfairly or not). They didn't cave under pressure. They could have, but they didn't. Physically this team has the tools (aside from a lack of depth) but mentally they are putting together the pieces. Some of these guys never knew what winning was till last year. They have to build that winning mentality. They are no longer the underdogs. They're slowly understanding that. Each team is going to try their damn best against state (even now when they're not ranked bc State has had a lot of hype this season).

Didn't like the foul at the end of regulation...didn't like the Leslie Technical...didn't think there was that much contact on the play....but I thought Brown, Wood and Lewis all played hard and well. Once Warren gets back in gear...we'll be a very good team again. VT isn't as bad as folks make them out to be...its a good win. I think we'll have a little easier time with FSU. The Heels are starting to play well, could be tough in Chapel Hill.

It was a close call and I would never expect an ACC Official to call it either! Unless ur a Blue team but this year not even then! ACC Refs are the Suck!

I was waiting for the call.  Think the refs gave us a break.  Maybe he stepped awkwardly...like he almost rolled his ankle.  The most bizarre thing was him passing it to Warren.  Luckily Warren made one, or you just know there would've been double OT.

He'd see the replay and pull a Fraschilla and stick to the call despite contrary video evidence.

Fraschilla's effort today was as poor as the referees', IMO.

Expected a win but didn't expect it to be a nail biter and definitely not an overtime game.

A win is a win but let's not fool ourselves, we're not where we need to be going down the home stretch. Sooner, rather than later, this team is going to have to develop an attitude on the defensive end. Right now they seem to accept being scored against as an opportunity to go back on offense.

As far as Planet Boulder saying he's proud of the team's fight, I find that a bite embarrassing. They fought back when they didn't have a choice. VT is the more pathetic than Wake Forest and they took us to OT on own home court. But again.....

A Win Is A Win.

I agree that no one should say anything but positive things about the performance of our team today. We certainly showed Va Tech why we were pre season picked to win the ACC and why they have lost 10 straight and are in dead last place in the ACC. I do not want to hear any Va Tech fans come on here and say that our tremendous victory was because we were on our home court or because we had a whole week to prepare for them. The outcome of this game was never in doubt. That is why a decided to watch this mismatch game from home!

No complaints here. VT was playing like a team with nothing left to lose. Pack hung on and won. God I love ACC ball. BC takes Duke to the wire, WF surprises us on the road(ok, I didn't LOVE that!), Miami surprises the hell out of everybody, take your pick of this craziness. Congrats to the Pack on their 18th win.

Great points here, our program was in the toilet 2 years ago, nobody wanted this job. What would this board do if the Pack lost like Kentucky did today?
