Not really. You forget how bad this Tech team is. We make every bad team look like it has lottery picks.

dang why didn't scott make the layup at the end? I know he wants to run clock but points are at a premium. gezz. we are not a good team. at all.

I agree.  Some of yall need to stop trying to be doomsday predictors and just get behind the team.  It doesnt make you look smart when we happen to lose and it makes you look like a ******* when we win.  Just support the team and enjoy the game.

I think the defense played OK. Green will get his points every game, and we forced a 22.2% 3PT shooter to shoot the ball. Unfortunately, he was hot early.

Like I said before, I thought they were consistent in the first 30 minutes.  But man, they missed/screwed up some calls the last few mins of the game.

VT would have 2-3 more ACC wins if Green could get that kind of help night in night out.

Make a few more free throws and a several fewer dumb passes and it's a double-digit game. There's a fine line with this team, and we give up way too points/possessions with carelessness or lack of attention.

There are a lot of people who either don't know, or have forgotten how good ACC teams win ACC games.    The last place team is always capable of beating you.    The best teams win these close games.

Honestly cannot remember seeing a worse call. Just awful.

some of your posters really need to get outside of your mom's basement. A lot of your attitude of really been crappy. As for the game it wasn't pretty and we didn't play that great but we got the end result and that's the W.

Do you expect people who watched the game to ignore what they saw?  VT rarely tried to pound in the paint offensively.  When they did, we barely touched them (and picked up a few fouls nonetheless).  Every time we had the ball down low--and that's a huge part of our game--they hacked the s*** out us, with only a bare few called.  Off the ball, they were shoving, elbowing, holding, and hand checking all game.  Oh, and the refs egregiously missed the call that put them in OT.

Since we won I can tell the truth about the officiating, right?

There must be something about the color red that makes VT want to cheat.

The issue is that they play their ***** off only when they need to.  We looked much better earlier in the year on offense than we do right now.  D has always been pretty bad.  We need to regain some focus before time runs out on us.

Glad we squeaked this one out.  Otherwise it would have been bubble time.  Wheew.
