They will be mailed when Big Rich says so.

Just checked my AmEX account today, no charges yet.  Rank about 950 and have received tournament  tickets the past 3 years.

I got the postcard today saying I will get the tickets I ordered. It doesn't say if I'm getting lower or upper level.

RE: when will ACC Tournament Tickets be mailed?

Was told last week that they weren't finished allocating at the time, but they expected the lower level cut off to be around rank 200. I didn't ask about the upper cut off.

Re: when will ACC Tournament Tickets be mailed?

Quick question: Anybody know the rank cutoff (if there is one) for even "asking" you to apply? And, if "asked" do they normally "assume" that you have a good chance of receiving tickets?

Thanks.

Limit was 4 tickets per Club member. So that means we were only allocated 800 lower level seats. Seems like a low number.

Another poster on premium board stated cutoff for getting tickets at all through State was around 970. He also heard same number I did on lowers, around 200. He did say we got more from other schools, so there is hope if you are over 1000.

And to answer your question, I got the postcard about buying tickets, but I am not ranked under 1000.

I am right at 1000 and got the postcard yesterday indicating they had tickets for me, but not in the State section. I called and they are still sorting out the allocation. Told me to call back on Friday to find out where I am. I'm going to give mine up if they are not sideline and buy elsewhere.

RE: when will ACC Tournament Tickets be mailed?

The cutoff for the Lower Level was indeed around 200. The cutoff for the entire NC State section was 970. The Wolfpack Club aquired tickets from other schools to fulfill the requested allotment. It's my understanding if you're over the 970 mark, the assignments haven't been given for actual seat location, but those will be assigned by priority also. The tickets will be mailed February 28.

RE: ACCT Seating Chart

I think you are right and there's some room for the AD's to swap tickets around as well. Excited about the tourney as we seem to be rising up at the right time

I was just thinking that. You would think it would be an easy flight from Miami or BC to Greensboro and a cheap hotel stay for them... but I guess it's a reflection on the number of fans they have.
Too bad since Miami might win the thing.
Yep...they changed the ticketing system a few years ago. The tickets are distributed to member schools based on demand they usually have. I think there is also a plan to shift tickets from school to school based on demand in a certain year. For example, Clemson may not want as many this year so they give a certain amount back to the ACC who would then distribute them to Miami.

You have to factor in any seats used by the athletic department/administration/possible NC State sponsors as well.  You don't think those folks are going to sit upstairs, do you? :)

Yep. I got the confirmation that I will receive the tickets I ordered but that they are not in the original State allotment. I'm in the high 2000's.

Re: when will ACC Tournament Tickets be mailed?/Seating Chart

It seems that State was able to get 500 additional seats from another school. Does anyone know from what University these tickets were made available to NCSU? FSU has upper level sections immediately beside our allotment. Miami also is also located right beside our sections.

So when did the ACC start doing unequal distribution of ticket amounts for the tournament? Maybe after the 2010 Tournament in Greensboro where there were thousands of empty seats in the Miami, BC, and FSU sections? How do they now allocate the number of seats a school gets? Past sales?

I believe you are correct. I know they did this last year and pretty sure they did the year before that. 2010 was sad with GT in the finals and their upper level section empty. Was shocked at the amount of VT fans there that year. It definitely shows what winning can do

My credit charge card now shows a pending charge from the NC State Ticket office. Based on the amount I'm getting upper level tickets. My rank is 431. I was hoping for lower level since I had lower level seats in Atlanta.

It's based on past sales, expected demand for that year, proximity to the venue (NC schools will get more tickets when tournament is in Greensboro or Charlotte, Georgia Tech would get more if it was in Atlanta - and they expected to sell them - most years, etc....)

I would have thought a rank in the 400's would get you lowers. Wow.

I read somewhere that cutoff for lower level was around 200 and seats in NC State section was around 970. NC State was able to get tickets from other schools unsold allotment.

Anyone receive their tickes yet? If mailed on the 28th they must be coming by pony express. I live 20 miles from campus.

If your order was not part of the the original Wolfpack Club allotment (inside Rank 970), then yours were mailed either Friday or Today.

My tickets were charged to my credit card on February 22. My rank is in the 600's. I assume I was in the original allotment. Back to my original question. Has anyone received their tickets from the Wolfpack Club?
