I disagree. Take baseball and Olympic sports away from the general sports forum will mean I will probably never see any of the posts because I don't forum jump here. Just use the Pack Pride sports board. Besides, what makes them different from football and basketball that they need a separate board. Of course, it could be that it will make baseball and other sports threads better without the Football/basketball first posters?

Will a separate board get enough traffic to be worth the trouble? Some posters wanted the Olympic Sports board to be premium only. The mods decided to try a separate free board until the end of 2013 to see if there is enough traffic or not. So those that support a separate board need to show those that doubt there will be enough traffic if there are right or not.

If you're going to seperate them, then the same should be done for basketball and football. Thats one of my favorite features of premium. JMO
As long as we can keep the MLB threads (Nats, Braves, O's) on the regular boards, ill be happy. Putting them on the other thread would ruin them.

I think it's ridiculous if you ask me. What harm is it in having all NCSU sports one one board??? Is something wrong with certain folks' scroll function??? I like seeing everything together and if I want to click on a thread title I will but I doubt I will go hunting for the other forums now.

The more I think about it, the more I'm not a fan of it. I enjoyed some of the olympic sports threads, but I would typically only click on them if I saw there was a lot of activity on it. Now that its on the "other" board, I just won't think to go over there.
Not really b*******. Just giving some feedback. Like I said, as long as we can keep the MLB threads on the main thread I'll be fine. If we are forced to the other board, they will be ruined. We'll lose activity from the casual fans, which the threads greatly benefit from.

I don't like this either. It sort of wrecks the flow of the boards. It is nice to have all sports stuff on the same page, so you can find the top stories without forum hopping.

At least all the "no one cares" stuff won't be cluttering up the real sports topics now.
We ought to be able to fit several more "TOB vs Russell" threads, along with maybe a combined Herb/Lee thread and possibly a couple of threads about uniforms and intro songs.

Oh please no. If you are going to move the NC State Baseball and Olympic sports away, don't leave that other stuff here. The only reason I care about baseball and the other sports is if they are NC State related.

Kind of random but it'd be nice to have a TV viewing thread in that forum for all televised non-football/basketball games. Love to have a running reminder when anything wolfpack is televised.

Need to fix pull down "forum" menu on the general front page--does not list the Baseball/Olympic sports forum.
