Thanks for the update, 44.  RJ, he was a longtime Miami commit before changing his mind.  She does want him to stay "home".

Does he need her permission to enroll in school and join the football team, too?  Or is it just the LOI that needs parent approval?

I do think we are at risk there.   It would be nice to get another kicker and/or punter on the team - hopefully a walk-on.

With ESPN being run by a UNC-CHeat grad, I have to believe people working there want to keep him happy and therefore the higher rankings.
Why don't you look at some other sites.  247 Sports has UNC-CHeat #28, Scout has them #29, Rivals has them at #41, but ESPN has the holes at #18.  You make the call.
interesting, when I saw 28 & 29 so close you figure 28.5 & averaging all 4 & it's 29.

Very solid class for Penn State given everything. QB and TE have potential to be really good. Not a top 20 class though.

They're the only ones apparently.  They also rated UNC-Cheat up around 18th.

24-7 Sports, Rivals and Scout all disagree.  They all have 5-6 ACC teams ranked below us.

17. Miami
20. Virginia Tech
28. UNC-Cheat
29. Virginia

34. Maryland
41. Louisville
60. NC State

Rivals:
 4. Notre Dame
11. Florida State
14. Clemson
22. Virginia Tech
27. Virginia
31. Maryland
33. Pitt
40. UNC-Cheat
44. Miami
46. NC State

Was just about to post the same thing. He has to be 21 or older per the NCAA guidelines.

Funny how he can sign up to go fight a war at age 18, but needs parental consent to sign a LOI to play football.

Welcome to all the new recruits who chose to sign with N. C. State.  Hopefully it will be 4 or 5 of the best years of your life.

Good for Coach Doeren and staff to improve the ranking in such a short time.  We know the head coach has to have a lot more enthusiasm than his predecessor and I believe next year will be a good recruiting class.

We may not see the improvement next year, but I think after that we will be doing very well.  Just my opinion of Coach Doeren.

Get that weak accusation outta here.  Ole Miss plays in the SEC, has won multiple SEC championships, won at least one National Championship (or at least were voted #1 at end of season by AP or somebody reputable), and has a coach that can pop in a copy of the "Blind Side" at every home visit to point to coach and former player that just won the Super Bowl to sway a recruit/parent.

Sounds very similar to our basketball history and our sudden rise in the recruiting rankings under Gott.  Would you be ok with another team's msg board insinuating Gott is cheating??

I can assure you the Rebelettes are likely not the ones the recruits are drooling over.  Its the girls they are going to class with that make the difference.  As in 80% of the girls in school there are all 7s or better.
