"*Update: ESPN's Corey Long reported that Collins' mother confiscated his National Letter of Intent and left the school. According to the NCAA website, a recruit must be 21 or older to sign the NLI without parental consent. For additional info and social media reaction surrounding this situation, click here. Does he need her permission to enroll in school and join the football team, too? Or is it just the LOI that needs parent approval? That's what I was thinking! Miami hasn't changed a bit. Surprise, surprise, the NCAA isn't worth a flip. And aren't a bit intimidating to schools that continue to operate in a less than honest way...ie Miami, UNC, Alabama, etc.

When do we have to start comparing against the "new teams"- I know Notre Dame is a few years down the road, but I read somewhere that Louisville would be sooner.

LOL. The kid whose mom stole his LOI got his dad to sign. FWIW, the mom has retained an attorney. She is worse than the one who wanted her kid to go to LSU and basically hung him out to dry at one of the All America games last year when he announced for ' Bama.

I'm sure TOB would have signed SOMEBODY into those 11-12 spots, but who? I'm guessing it would have been the same or worse if we still had TOB.
