Why don't we just do one thread  blaming every problem on the officials- the ACC officials, even if those don't exist.  Then those of us who are really interested in an objective analysis of the games can do it in the post-game thread, while the folks with the tin-foil hats will have their own thread.

That is rich coming from someone who refuses to actually discuss anything concerning the refs.
Ignore feature will work for this tool. All his posts say the same thing anyway. What's the saying about if you repeat a lie enough times......?????

Are you a parody poster? Seriously? Our best player was playing with the flu, our second best player left 10 minutes in and didn't return, you were at home, and you won by 3 points.

If I'm a UVA fan I'm talking about what a gift UVA just got from the basketball gods instead of referring to the team UVA was favored to beat as "overrated head cases".
Sadly I think that is the way the UVA rugby nation thinks.
I had a UVA fan tell me losing Brown made no difference in the outcome of the game.

I was at the game and I was surprised by the number of State fans there.  The UVa fans around us were very cool.  One guy in front of us turned around at the end of the game and said "Don't worry, State is definitely going to win the ACC tourney.  You guys have the horses to take it all."

He knew that the Hoos had escaped by the skin of their teeth.

Sadly, deciding how an entire fanbase thinks based on an internet troll or two or one fan is ridiculous. I would prefer that other fanbases don't judge us by our head cases that flock other message boards to show their *****.

They wanted too, but security formed a human wall, holding hands so there were no breaks. It was pretty impressive.

Maybe so... I didn't see it that way.  But that wasn't the call regardless.  The ref who blew the whistle wasn't indicating body contact.

And looking at the play-by-play, it was Leslie.  My mistake.
Care to comment on the picture in this thread of the Leslie drive?

A missed call... wow.  You really got me there.  Especially considering that two posts earlier, I said that those refs did a very bad job last night.

Care to comment on the picture of Harris getting mugged that Atilla posted on the last page?
And the bad calls favored your no-talent hacks a lot more than it did our guys.

One of my favorite plays was when Wood was breaking open to the top of the key and the guy just grabbed his jersey and pulled so hard he pulled it out of his shorts.  And the crowd was booing that it was a bad call.  LOL!
It was a foul.  You got the call.  What's your point?

Grats dude. We will see where our teams end up at the end of the ACCT and NCAAT. I have a good feeling we will come out ahead.

And in the mean time enjoy watching your rugby... err basketball games.
If it's anything like where you all started and are now, I'll take it.
Have a nice time in the NIT!

Methinks a bit premature.

Still 1 game left for each of us.  Away for us (at the same place UVa just lost), and home for them.   We haven't picked up their spot in the tourney yet.

Maybe premature for the ACCT seedings, but the Wahoos have just about played themselves into the NIT these last two games.

They certainly are Jekyl and Hyde.  Realtime RPI will list quality wins with a $/$$ and bad losses with a ?/??

They have 6 ? and 1 ??

They have 4 $ and 3 $$ (Duke, State, UNC)

Lanardi or whatever his name is still showing UVA as one of the last four in. Also fitting someone posted on this thread. We gave them a game earlier in the year and they gave it back tonight.

Who's spot?  Ours to lose at this point.

True enough.  Perhaps I should restate - we picked up their spot in the tourney, but could still lose it this weekend.

I never like to gloat until actually winning.  Karma and all that.
