You should try and hit one of those bb core bats. Honestly, a wooden bat has a bigger sweet spot and comes off a lot hotter.

With the new BBCOR regulations and speed testing on all bats, there's still more pop from aluminum/composite than wood, but it's greatly reduced from where it was 3-4 years ago.

More pop I could give you but I think the sweet spot for wood is larger than the new bbcore bats.

I'm a fan of that style of baseball, so I like it.

Oh. Didn't realize that. I knew we had red, white, and black. What are the other four? Different mixes and matches of jerseys and pants in those colors?

I may be forgetting one or two but I can think of 8 different versions: 2 different away/gray (one with NC State and one with the Block S), 1 Red with Block S 1 cream colored 'throwback' w/ NC State 3 different home/white jerseys (Block S, NC State, and NC State in script with red sleeves), 1 white vest style with Wolfpack

Re: Highest Preseason Ranking Ever For Pack Baseball
Dont see this mentioned in the thread, but I believe these are recent schedule changes: Florida State series has been moved to Sat-Mon to accomodate live Monday night game on ESPNU. Game 3 of unc-ch series is now a night game (also on TV as well I believe).
Good to get some TV games at home; last year all of the TV games we had were on the road.

Re: Highest Preseason Ranking Ever For Pack Baseball
Coach Avent was at the Raleigh Sports Club today. He consistently played down the national ranking, saying several times that the key to this season is getting the team to play together, and talking about the challenge of encouraging senior leadership when the superstars on your team are all sophomores. He was asked about Bret Williams (Brent?) the outfielder who went out for the season last year the very first game, and said (essentially) that it is very difficult in baseball to come back and contribute from an injury and layoff of that magnitude (take that for what its worth).

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect... but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... stuff.

Read I think on CVM page same place as where Santa was. So I'm guesssing somewhere in the lower level in the middle of the mall.

fv Yikes...if keeps that velocity up in that mid 90 area he literally becomes unhittable with the stuff he has.
