Arizona has landed a commitment from 2014 Loyola (CA) PG Parker Jackson-Cartwright
NC State was high on his list until the Barber commitment.

NC State was high on his list until the Barber commitment. Also seemed like the Gott and his staff started putting less emphasis on his recruitment? For a while, pre-barber heard a lot about interaction between Jackson-Cartwright and NCSU. |

Theo Pinson says Indiana is recruiting him harder than anyone else right now, including State, UNC and Duke. They were at all three of his State Tourny games and look to be pushing for a Pinson commitment before the spring evaluation period. Duke may have the best shot at keeping Pinson in state, but will need to pick it up to get him. I dont know where we stand, but looks like his top six at this point are IU, Duke, UNC, NCSU, Georgetown and Memphis, with IU going all in over the last few weeks.

Dunlow, Do you think that the Martin twins that have commited and being listed at the same position, and nearly identical in size, is one of the reasons we may not be pursuing him so hard, or could Pinson be seeing this as a possible logjam?

I think it is more of Indiana going after him as a top priority, they are done with the 2013 class, so they are focused on '14 and Pinson. We are still after Randle, Djitte, Freeman, Desmond Lee and may be back in the picture for former Vanderbilt commit Darius Thompson. Our staff just has more to focus on for next season the IU does. It has to be hard on our coaches at this point, trying to balance the current season, next years recruiting and then 2014 recruiting as well. Clayton and Gary Clark get a #1 4A seed(East Region) and open with Holly Springs(12-13)
Kinston and Brandon Ingram(Soph) get a #1 East regional 2A seed and open their title defense with a game against NorthWest Halifax(13-9)

Or maybe this gets a big chain reaction going. It's possible Cal is using Randle to get Wiggins to go ahead and sign. I think Wiggins really wants to go to Kentucky but is just enjoying the spotlight of being recruited. I'm not sure Cal could get both Wiggins and Randle. But maybe he can. Damn what a class that would be. Lot of egos.

All I can say about Randle is that people who have been right on a consistent basis in the past are saying we have fallen behind and Randle himself says he is done talking to coaching staffs, so how can we possibly make up any ground if we can not talk to him and we are not putting a top notch product on the court either.
