As an antidote, I am grateful to UNC at Chapel Hill for: 1. Reminding me that there are groups of people far less intelligent, yet far more arrogant. 2. Providing a third year of entertainment of their ongoing multi-pronged swirling controversy. 3. Providing much needed support to the economy with their binge-purge consumption of 'hole gear. 4. Making family reunions entertaining by simply uttering "swahili" around any 'hole family members and watch them slither away. 5. Establishing a core subject matter that keeps PackPride active year round. 6. Reminding the world that Pack alums / fans are among the most innovative in the world with firsts such as plane tracking, accelerated investigations- two hours or less or it's free  , hacking into large scale university websites to find rogue transcripts, and the ability to keyword search heretofore thought unsearchable adobe .pdf documents. ETA: Oh, how could I forget the best one: Plagiarism term paper checking free and fast! Merry Christmas!

I did see a new one on post-game topic about lame duck staff coaching in bowl game that will have to be added.  I don't know if there is another team playing a bowl game with a lame duck staff, but I hated the decision when it was made, and I hate it more even now. I think what we were subjected to is enough reason to never let a fired coach's staff "coach the season out", while the new staff looks on from the luxury box.We coached like we didn't give a crap, and we played like we didn't give a crap. If it was Yow's decision, she screwed up. If it was Doeren's decision, he screwed up. I swear I think our program would be better off if we had just fired TOB and staff, turned down a bowl invitation, and let the new staff get to work. Yesterday accomplished nothing, except to add to our long list of embarassments on national TV.If it was done so DD could evaluate this team, well, he should have been able to do that watching film from our previous games. And, as someone else said, there are some attitude issues with this program that need a lot of work. There is no leadership, period. Even heard an announcer talk about how the defensive and offensive guys never talked to each other.For TOB to yap about recruiting kids with character, I saw a lot of quitters this year, and not many leaders, and that includes the outgoing staff. There is more work to be done here than some think.

Mark May and Lou Holtz calling out NC State for firing TOB after three straight bowls games. At halftime of the Vanderbilt fiaco, they SHOULD have said: oh, now I get it, or this is why you fire a coach and his staff.

2013-1I really feel bad for the pack fans who made the trip and braved the bad weather all weekend... We deserved much better effort from such a senior laden team...
2013-2Pack fans that who made this trip got exactly what they deserve. They made a choice to go watch a team that has played uninspired and inconsistent all season in a meaningless game with a lame duck coaching staff
2013-3 It gets quite old reading people constantly complain about not being able to watch a game. In this day and age there are about a million ways to get a given game, some just require a slight effort that is less than whining about it on message boards.
2013-4 However, the larger point is that if you live in the state of North Carolina, you ought to be able to see a ranked North Carolina State basketball team play on television without having to go to a sports bar. So ******* tired of Raycom.
2013-5 Doris Burke
2013-6 I personally think it is terrible and needs to go. Can we not get ones that are signs made of hard plastic and removable? I don't think that's what Jimmy V had in mind for advertising the university in a new arena. What are y'all's thoughts? Seems like it would be an easy fix.
2013-7 Lee Fowler is on the NC State payroll until September 30, 2013
2013-8 They aren't going to make it permanent when that same area has something to do with the hockey rink. Not going to happen. I swear, people are just getting flat out stupid with the crap they complain about.
2013-9 The correct fix is to make the wall look better (maybe a wrought iron fence) instead of covering it with a shower curtain. Thats the wall to the hockey rink right? I can just see the Canes checking each other into a wrought iron fence. Hell, that might even make southernors hockey fans

2013-14 .is there a reason in 2013 that the 'Pack can't get a FM radio affiliate in the triad? I think even Wilmington still has a FM affiliate and Greensboro/HP/WS doesn't.

Why have lights if you can't play August games at night. Sometimes being on tv is just not a good idea!
We should only endure noon starts for conference games.
Are there actually people on here planning for their water consumption at a State football home opener?
Omg everyone email their best friend Deb and complain about how hot it will be. We complain when our games against nobody aren't on TV and Unc's are, we complain when we are on TV and that it will be hot. We complain that we can't tailgate in the heat all day for a night game, we complain when we get to sit in the heat all day.
On a serious note, please carter Finley, don't run out of ice and water this time. And this is the perfect time for the real games later that evening.
