last night the Demon Deacons, who beat NC State 86-84 in Winston-Salem on January 22, lost a 7 point lead with 1:58 to play to lose to Boston College in Chestnut Hill, 66-63.
Demon Deacons are 11-13, 4-8.
next game February 16 vs Georgia Tech 2pm
football record prediction (2010) 3-9, 1-7 (2011) 5-7, 2-6 (2012) 7-5, 4-4

next game February 16 vs Georgia Tech 2pm In Wake's defense, BC is pretty tough in Chestnut Hill this year. They almost beat us and almost beat Duke. We never should have lost that game to Wake. It is going to come back to haunt us if we're on the line of the 4/5 seed in the ACC tournament. |

That finish was hilarious. Bzedlik is Wakes version of Herb only worse. I honestly think if that situation was happening here State fans probably would burn Debbie's house down. If we lose to those fools again Gott should have his salary for the year taken away.

I don't think things are as bleak in W-S as some make out. He's got some good, young talent on that team and has a couple of capable recruits on the way. They may be climbing their way back to respectability.

Their entire fan base certainly is going to be angry about Bzzz coming back. I really hate to see 3 people be that unhappy.

I'll state the obvious but unlike Pro sports coaches should have at least 4-5 years to show a fan base and their AD that they can or can not coach. Judging a coach without his recruits is completely unfair and good luck finding a decent replacement if you fire someone 3 years after the job.

Amongst the WF folks that matter, there were too many "issues" (perceived at least) beyond Ws and Ls in the program under Dino. I have heard the same thing. W's or lack thereof were not his undoing. |
