The fact this team plays in Reynolds has not seemed to hurt their recruiting at all.

Go gymnasts! I chuckled at that. It hasn't hurt the volleyball team, either. If you're keeping track. JesseBolt wrote: The fact this team plays in Reynolds has not seemed to hurt their recruiting at all.

Why do gymnastics after 16-18? The Olympics are already out of your league. What are you training for? Collegiate champs? Professional leagues?

Kind of a silly question when only a very, very small percentage of gymnast ever have a legit shot at the Olympic team to begin with. What is wrong with wanting to compete for as long as possible, it is fun and like it was stated earlier, Scholarships are offered, even if only partial.( and a plus, female gymnast have great butts, nothing wrong with wanting to keep that going)

Not to pile on, but this is unfortunately the sentiment of about 95% of college fans. If it's not football or basketball (or possibly baseball) then it's irrelevant. I admire all our athletes, and non-revenue sports offer some of the best examples of sportsmanship and team unity. Hope the ladies pull off the upset Friday!

I guess Coach Mark will try to inquire several of them to help close the gap. That or hope for multiple falls by the LSU ladies on the beam.

Excellent start to the season! The goal is to be top 18 at the end of the season, and my guess is that we will need a Regional Qualifying Score close to 196 to get that protected top 18 seed. Hopefully we can see us hit some 196s at home. wolfer79 wrote: Junior Diahanna Ham competed as an all-arounder for the first time in her collegiate career and did not disappoint, posting the top two scores for the Wolfpack on the night with a 9.875 on vault and a 9.850 on floor. Took my daughter tonight for the first time. Ended up tying Maryland at exactly 195 each. More fun than I expected, I have to admit. Bigger crowd too.
