Up to 275 made by my count, still needs 48 to break record.

He could create his own shot and shoot on the move. Monroe could literally take over games. We have some talented guys now, but no one on the roster approaches being able to dominate a game offensively like Rodney could.

I think it was Roy Marble of Iowa, after RM dropped 40+ on them in the NCAA tourney, that said (about Rodney)..."he is da troof!"

14th place in ACC 13th Jack McClinton 286 1st Riddick 457 Does post-season play count? If not, we have 14 games left. Would have to average 3.4 per game to tie Monroe. If post-season counts, there could be three to eight more games.

Re: Scott Wood - 3pt Record Countdown
It's Reddick guys, not Riddick. I sure hope Wood makes it too. His range is unreal, just a pure natural shooter. Also a great FT shooter. I would also be willing to bet, Scott would be one the leaders in another category. One that he wouldn't be too proud of, and that is, 2 point fg's made in minutes played. I'm guessing that would be hard to find out, but Wood doesn't get many. Only guy I could think of (NC State) was Cozelle McQueen, a 6 footer was a prayer for the guy. Don't get me wrong, I loved Cozelle, he has a Natty, and not many can say that.

I was up on the upper deck mid court in my buddy's girlfriend's high roller seats. By a few minutes into the second half they all stopped yelling at us for jumping out of our seats every time he teed one up. I think eventually he wasn't even watching to see if they would go in. He KNEW most of them were. I also recall DT sitting behind the bench that game cheering him on but I'm not certain about that.

Maybe so, but he could sure shoot the rock. Had the 3 point line been there the last 50 years, there would be quite a few different names in that top 10. hamma wrote: Surprising to see a poser like Curtis Staples on this list. He was a good player but a whiny little chump.
