Incidentally, if you've never done so check out Cornell's Kyle Dake in action. He'll finish as one of the greatest collegiate wrestlers of all time (had a 100-4 record coming into this season with three national championships). Is taking care of business in the tournament tody.

RE: 2012-2013 NC State Wrestling Thread
Results from today:
HWT - Nick Gwiazdowski 3-0 (continues in the semifinals tomorrow against defending national champion Tony Nelson) HWT - Mike Kosoy 2-2 HWT - Josh Davis 0-2 174 lbs.- Patrick Davis 1-2 165 lbs.- Nijel Jones 3-1 (continues in the consolation bracket tomorrow) 165 lbs.- Ryan Fox 3-2 157 lbs.- Matt Nereim 1-2 149 lbs.- Thomas Gantt 2-1 (continues in the consolation bracket tomorrow) 141 lbs.- Michael Avelar 1-2
A few thoughts: - This has provided some good experience for some of our guys. - Fox and Gwiazdowski wrestled unattached so that's why their point totals aren't showing on our team point standing on trackwrestling.com. - You have to give props to Nijel Jones for going in their and giving his all against not only the most accomplished wrestler in the NCAA today, but one of the most decorated wrestlers in the history of collegiate wrestling. - It's not really fair to expect anything of Nick Gwiazdowski (a redshirting sophomore) heading into his semi-final matchup tomorrow with defending national champion Tony Nelson. But Wolfpack wrestling fans have got to be salivating over this kid's future.

Re: 2012-2013 NC State Wrestling Thread
I was just looking at the schedule and see that State only wrestles in Raleigh on three occasions. (1/18 American, 2/09 Maryland, 2/20 Duke) All the other meets are away. I usually go to one or two a year but with those limited home dates I may not make one. Is there a reason there are so few home dates this year?

He has the potential to really help us at 125 lbs.
