Bobcats lose to Houston tonight 109-95

Frontcourt is just awful with only 10 points, everything else from the guards and Jeff Taylor at SF and SG. Just sad, great backcourt and nothing up front

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist taken off the court on a stretcher, but seems to be ok now. Hit his head on Taylor's hip.

Why would you say this, less jobs for BBall players, less entertainment for fans. Dont understand why you would want less teams, even if there were less teams, some would be great, some would be good, some would rebuild and some would still suck. If I am missing the point, please enlighten me.

Their not suppose to be good this year.  Play the youngins and get a good draft pick.  Money will be freed up of some bad contracts after this season.

How is attendance this year?

I'm not a Bobcats fan at all, but I do believe the franchise has a bright future. I really like MKG. Plus, theyre probably going to land Noel. Looks like the will get the Hornets name back too, which will create a lot of good will.

15,542 per game.
That ranks 23 in the NBA ahead of the Suns, Hawks, Pacers, Bucks, Pistons, Hornets, and Kings

MJ hired the same guy who does UNC's football attendance. If they get more than 10 people to pay to watch their games I would be shocked.

Well, the appeal of Nerlens Noel as Number one pick in the draft has lost some luster for sure. If Charlotte gets the pick, who should it be?
It has to be a big man, but is Zeller really an NBA star ?
Is Anthony Bennett to short or the second coming of Larry Johnson?

Best thing Jordan has done since becoming controlling owner?

Hire Rich Cho to run the operation as Gm. He is a very bright basketball executive with a background in both law and mathematics. He helped build the team in Ok City.

I know this is crazy talk, but I'm legitimately curious to see how Plumlee does in the pros. The cats (hornets soon, PLEASE) need someone with more upside, like Zeller, but I still think whoever gets Mason will get a pretty good player. If Withey was a more dynamic scoring threat I'd love to see the cats take him. He gives you something similar to Noel defensively, but neither of those guys have the scoring touch the cats need. Backcourt can't do it every night (hell, most nights, based on this year's record...)

Charlotte could have 1, 2 or 3 first round picks depending on where Portland and Detroit finish the season.

Charlotte gets Portland's pick as part of the Gerald Wallace trade(top 12 protected in '13)
Portland currently would pick 14th

Charlotte gets Detroit's pick as part of the Ben Gordon trade(top 14 protected in '13)
Pistons currently would pick 9th

I've read similar things about Cho.

BUT, come on man. KD is making a lot of folks look smart. Can be build a team without landing a KD-like player.

They need to pick Bennett, they need inside scoring. Bennett is 6-8, the same height as Larry Johnson and could be as good as he was. Ive seen most of his games this year. Picking Noel over him would be a huge mistake IMO, greg oden 2.0.

Not in terms of injuries, in terms not being very polished offensively.  In todays NBA I just dont see the value of spending a #1 pick on a shot blocking, traditional center who isnt a big scoring threat when most of the teams dont even have traditional centers. Hes gonna spend half his time guarding people at the 3 point line which takes away all his strengths.
The Bobcats need some scoring from the frontcourt and Noel doesnt provide that before or after the injury. I would pick Bennett if I were them, hes one of the better college freshman Ive seen in a while and his game translates better to todays nba.

The only big Charlotte has who can do any scoring seems to be Byron Mullens, he did get 20

all the other Forwards and Centers combined for 17 points, that is sad. Glad for the win, but man, that is one low scoring rotation for the Cats.
