Bobcats backcourt looked great tonight in their 90-89 win over a good Indiana team.
Starters and bench backcourt scored a total of 69 points with Kemba Walker leading the way with 30 points.

These are the games they need to lose this year. We have to suck for a couple more years to get good draft picks. Bobcats are still a loooong ways away from being a playoff team much less a true contender.

I was ready to MAYBE pull for them a little bit this year, but man...I could not get past the court paint job. I can't pull for a team with that much light blue.

It was discouraging to see them take nothing but jump shot after jump shot for the entire 4th quarter. Indiana simply failed to win the game themselves down the stretch.  |

20-25 games would be a massive improvement from last year, which was historically bad. And they need a couple seasons like that to stock the cupboard through the draft

They need to change the name to just "Cats" and lose some of the UNC influence in the color scheme. I could see one of those happening.

Looks like another terrible year in store for the bobcats. Teams like Toronto, Wash., CLT, Detroit, and cleveland have a 0% chance of making the playoffs according the ESPN magazine NBA preview and is this realistically ever going to change. This is a step up for the cats though.
Do people really pay good money to go watch the Bobcats host a team like Cleveland. The attendance for those games must be in the hundreds. how sad and what a waste of money. thanks to the nba for the aggressive expansion that has so diluted the regular season to render it unwatchable and basically meaningless for half the league.

^^^ Agree, but they do have a very improved backcourt and some good young talent at the SF position. Bobcats bigs are very bad. Only one I think has any NBA potential is Mullens.
At least new GM Richard Cho has a history of building a good young team. Maybe Jordan with leave him alone for a couple of seasons and see what happens

Once again , Charlotte will only win if their backcourt dominates. The big men for the Cats may be the worst group of C's and PF's in the NBA. Both the starting big men should be bench players for any other team. I think Kidd-Gilchrist will grow into an active player but he is just to young and not NBA ready.

Bobcats beat Mav's today, Kemba Walker goes off for 26 points , 6 rebounds, 7 assist and 8 steals
Kidd-Gilchrist with 25 and 12 boards, Sessions and Gordon combine for 23 of the bench
Charlotte is definitely improved over last season and need a couple of big men to have a very respectable team. They are much more competitive this year.

I watched them play the Suns and they looked half decent. Their defense needs a lot of help but it looked like coach Dunlap is teaching them something. |
