UMass climbed up to #43, UConn went down to #25, Stanford fell to #117, St. Bonnies is #96, UNC-A is #236, Miami (OH) #143, Penn St #138, OK St. #29.

Another note, the squad coming up after St. Bonnies, West. Mich. is #65.

Duke struggling a bit against Cornell, right now....but I have no doubt they'll end up winning by 30+

Clemson getting absolutely clowned by Coastal Carolina. 64-42. That will leave a mark on their RPI.

Clemson goes down 69-46.

What Duke has done to Cornell in this second half is absolutely surgical. Duke looks freaking scary good right now.

Where is RiseUp to tell us about Clem's Son and Bradley Brownell?

They have gone straight down the dumper since he took over. In fact, it's a race to the bottom between Wake, BC, and Clem's Son.

I know ECU is not on this year's schedule, but did any of you notice how high their projected RPI will be? #45 or #53 at the end of season! Guess they may go dancing next March. Let's see how they will match up with UMass this Saturday.

Texas taking it to UNC, 14-6 Horns. So far, UNC just looks bad. No inside presence.

At this point, looking like ACC play may hurt our RPI.

I don't think so.  Not this year.  UNC has no inside presence, and NC State is the most efficient team in the country at scoring in the paint.

As long as NC State can at least attempt to guard the perimeter and prevent Bullock and McDonald from getting hot from outside, NC State should beat UNC handily.  They are simply not a good team because they are so weak inside.

UNC Asheville got a quality win over St Johns. Stanford is leading Northwestern who beat Baylor who beat Kentucky.

RE: Annual Basketball Opponent Record/RPI/Pom/Sagarin/SOS 12/17/

We're now #8 in RPI, largely due to a strength of schedule ranked 7th toughest in the country. Miami is ranked #10, Maryland is #59, UNC is #64.

We're only #27 on kenpom, because we are #124 in defensive efficiency. On the flip side, we're the 6th most efficient team on offense (we'd be first if we cut down on turnovers and/or shot more 3's).

Re: Annual Bball Opp. Record/RPI/Pom/Sagarin/Dance Card 2/5/2013

So 6 top 100 RPI wins and 2 losses to teams outside the top 100.  Not bad.  The UMASS and UCONN wins look pretty good right now.

Annual Bball Opp. Rec/RPI/Pom/Sagarin/Dance Card/BPI 2/12/2013

Added BPI from ESPN to chart... Was watching Florida and Kentucky and saw the graphic ESPN uses for their rankings.

Re: Annual Bball Opp. Rec/RPI/Pom/Sagarin/Dance Card/BPI

Good looking resume so far.

17-7
RPI 17
Quality wins: Duke, UConn (neutral), Stanford, UNC, UMass (neutral)

Bad Losses: Wake

A win @ UNC would give us a quality win on the road, the only thing this resume is lacking.

I would say UCONN's odds are somewhat less than 99.78%.

Yes, decrease that by 99.78% and you will be in the ballpark.

They should have had their players in the UNC-CH classes that didn't meet - they could have sent emails and taken just enough credits to stay elgible.

Does show they were an NCAA caliber team and a good win for us.

GO PACK!!! BEAT VaTech!!!
