Said it before and I'll say it again, OK City traded the wrong guard.
No way in the world they should have traded away Westbrook.  If he keeps developing he will be elite.  I think they should have let Ibakwe walk and gave Harden his money.  The reason they traded Harden is because they could not pony up the money to sign Harden and Ibakwe.
If they want to beat the Spurs in the West and the Heat in the Finals, they need Ibaka's presence in the paint.
Yep, you will not win with all perimeter players, the choice should never have been Ibaka or Harden, it should have been Westbrook or Harden. Westbrook may be elite in few years, but Harden is elite now. Westbrook will continue to shoot OK City out of games. Westbrook is actually a little older than Harden.

Harden is averaging 5.7 assist this year as a 2 guard
Westbrook is averaging 8.1 as a point guard

I think when Lebron's contract is up with the Heat, he returns to the Cavs and plays with Irving.  I think those two together could attract another star to play with them.
Could Cleveland afford three stars though?

Would Lebron ever play for Dan Gilbert again after all the crap Gilbert talked about Lebron?

Don't all teams play by the same salary cap rules?  I think the bigger question is can they convince a star to move to Cleveland.

I do think Lebron wants to return to Cleveland and win a title there.  But he won't return unless the situation is right.  And Gilbert would take him back in a heartbeat.

Just noticed JJ Hickson is one of 10 players in the NBA averaging a double/double with points and rebounds (Hes at 13 and 10.4). Also, he is top 5 in the league in FG%. Seems like he has found his niche with the Blazers

Curry put on a show last night. Kobe's 61 in MSG was amazing, but Curry was just nailing 3s from everywhere.

One three pointer short of tying the all time record of 12 by Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall. What made Curry's night so spectacular he only attempted 13 threes.

Kobe was 12-18
Marshall was 12 -19

I think Utah  or Golden State may be the team the Lakers catch
Houston is playing well right now and Golden State appears to be in a free fall.
Wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers get to 7th or even 6th before season's end.

Yep, in one month they went from 5 games below .500 to .500.  They could easily be 7-8 games above .500 by the end of the season.  Right now that would put them at 6th.

Don't really get how this guy gets ragged on for manning up and trying to make a play. You know EFFORT when 99% of the guys in the league aka David Lee would have ducked and ran from the play.

Brandon Knight even poked fun at himself after the game on twitter: "It wasn't in the scouting reports that the clippers threw lobs lol." Good for him. Heard he's a crazy gym rat. Well he earned at least one fan out of it.

Catch a piece? LMAO. Still never going to knock on a guy for trying, no matter how bad the odds are in his favor.

Looks like your Lake Show is finally starting to figure things out. Too bad neither first round matchup they would face is favorable but I could see ya'll giving the Spurs a series.

The best defensive player in the league gives his thoughts on the the refs after getting tossed

Kobe severely sprained his ankle on a shot to tie at the end the Lakers loss on a play where he was clearly fouled. Out indefinitely. Mamba's thoughts via twitter:

"@kobebryant: #dangerousplay that should have been called. Period."

Tyson Chandler taken to the Knicks locker room before the end of the 1st half with an apparent knee injury. Could be bad and would be the Knicks entire season.

Definitely was a foul on Jones.  He clearly stepped up underneath him.

Anybody on this board who remembers Jones at Duke 10 years ago could guess it was dirty and be correct.  How that piece of **** is still in the NBA is beyond me.
