Cochran's staff is almost exclusively Ole Miss grads

Does McDaniel have even one Rebel on his campaign staff? I know his campaine manager is a LSU grad. His supporters will say it doesn't matter, but, in my opinion, it matters greatly!

Re: Cochran's staff is almost exclusively Ole Miss grads

It is this kind of thinking times many thousand that has the US in the shape she is in.  You all keep talking about how Thad is going to do things for US and how he is good to Ole Miss.  How?  That money you refer to that he brings in to the state is coming from taxpayers all over the land.  Doesn't make me feel one whit better knowing that Americans from other states are funneling money into Mississippi.  How about this, spend only what you have.  Don't borrow from China to spend more.

What is Thad's net worth?  What was it when he joined Congress?

How about people from other states funneling

in money for McDaniel's campaign?

All candidates do that -- they fund raise on controversial votes, events, gaffs from the other side. When an upstart takes on an entrenched incumbent, s/he has little choice but to seek outside help.

Is that McDaniel campaign manager you mentioned...

...the one whose husband is in the Texas State Penitentiary and travels with McDaniel?

Do you think it is ok for outsiders to buy an election?

The money put into a candidate does not come without expectations in return.

Staff Being Ole Miss Grads Means ZERO to

many voters as it Should! If they are so great why did they not have ole Thad @ the headquarters on the night of the election; why won't they let the old codger debate Chris; hell, he wouldn't even answer any questions while touring Tupelo yesterday, giving some lame brain excuse for not doing so. Time for Thad to come home and watch the sun set; the world bas already passed him by.devil

How About Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer

funneling $$$ into Thad's campaign? Tit for tat IMO. Thad has taken just about as much out of state PAC $$$ as Chris has. Could the 3 liberals I mentioned above have an AGENDA with their contributions? noidea

Does that Apply to Democrats Candidates Also Art

I see where Travis Childers is crying that he has very little money to run his campaign on. Wanna BET that his masters in Congress load the wagon between now and September? Does that mean that They will have expectations for ole Travis? excited

That really is one ridiculous accusation.

Where is your evidence to back up that whopper?

And is this the campaign tactics of the McDaniel campaign? Just throw any lie or dirt out there and hope voters don't take the time to find out the truth?

Without a doubt, if Dems see an opening for Childers, money will come pouring into MS from Dems -- and it will come with expectations -- won't it Art? Both sides do it. Like it or not.

You didn't answer my question.

I am very much against outside money for any candidate no matter what is politics.

You are a conservative, I am a liberal. Don't know

what you call the nuts on this board.

Art Google Out of State PAC Contributions

to Thad Cochran and see where his $$$ is coming from! His hands are  not as clean in this as some would have U believe. I doubt ANY politician's hands are. MS is too damn poor to fully fund a campaign that costs $8 MILLION to run by both parties. That is the tab so far according to info on talk radio Friday on SuperTalk. Not telling what the final tab will be by November.

I would venture to say

that everyone on this board is opposed to outside influence. Here's the problem. How does average Joe Blow afford to mount a campaign? Is/should political office be only for the wealthy?

I do fear that the Senators from TN & MS

are the most likely to cast their lot with the Leftists and help grant blanket amnesty to those here illegally

in the classical sense, you are not a Liberal.

moreover, you are the exact opposite of a true liberal.

You, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Chairman Mao, obama and all other mantle bearers of the authoritarian left do not believe in more personal freedom for the people, rather, you believe in the state over the people.

TN for sure.

Howard Baker helped give away the Panama Canal. TN has a long history of not-so conservative Senators.
