AA Third Place
Lakeville South is in the third place game against Moorhead.
Interesting story line here is the state's best forward, Justin Kloos, going up against a hot goaltender in Michael Bitzer.
Not a lot of fans at the X but this should be a good game.

No score here in the first with 4:37. South is leading 6-2 in shots right now.

Lakeville South scores on some nice passing around the net. Kloos fed Patrick Lauderdale for a tap in goal. 1-0 Lakeville South

Lakeville South playing really well following their 10-1 loss last night. Leading 1-0 at the break and 9-3 in shots.

Kloos scores his first of the game on a nifty shot from the dot. I didn't think he had much of an angle but he snuck it by the goaltender.
South up 2-0

South still up 2-0 with four minutes left in the second.
Moorhead has stepped up the pressure and are now only behind 15-14 in shots.

South scores but the skater looked like he kicked it in. From up here it looked like a good call.

Just six minutes left in this game and South is still up 2-1. This one will come down to the wire as the Spuds continue to get the occasional scoring chance.

South misses an open net as the Moorhead defender made an awesome save by stacking the shin pads.
Spuds couldnt capitalize late in the game and the Cougars take home third place by a final of 2-1.
