Series Thread: Minnesota at CC
No post last night. Frod was nice enough to keep me updated via text as the Gophers won the first one 4-2. Same two teams tonight at 8 on FSN. Hopefully we can pull out the sweep.

Gophers dominated the first and are up 3-0 early third. Gophers are 0-1 on PP now. CC on PP

RE: Series Thread: Minnesota at CC
Gophers had an awful PP then a stupid penalty and CC scores on the PP. 3-1. No fight from the Gophers this period.

Reilly puts the Gophers up 4-1 with his second goal of the year and his career. Unassisted.

4-1 End of two. Bjuggy had a wide open shot go off the pipe otherwise it'd be 5-1.

RE: Series Thread: Minnesota at CC
Terrible D and CC scores twice quickly. One goal game. 4-3. Gophers really need to work on their D as the offense has got it done. Marshall and Skjei have been the biggest offenders tonight.

Wow, great defensive play by Marshall and Rau to bail the goalie out, and save the game for the time being.

1:23 left Gophers up 4-3. TO by someone. Bout time for CC to pull their goalie.

Officials call offsides. I don't think that was the right call and the Gophers would have had a 3-2.

Under two minutes left in OT. Gophers have looked better in OT though still no where near what they were doing in the first period.

Seems like they're just looking to escape with a point. Can't blame them with the way they finished but thats their own fault.

Re: Series Thread: Minnesota at CC
Skjei is really struggling. Marshall hasn't lived up to what I hoped he would, either so far. The defensive core is the problem with the team at the time. Eventually, they'll get it figured out, but it has cost us points and games so far that we should've had. Hopefully it doesn't come back to haunt us.
