Re: Game Thread: Canisius at Minnesota
Canisius slows down the Gophers pace a little and gets two shots on Wilcox, who handles both with ease.

Re: Game Thread: Canisius at Minnesota
Marshall with a nice pass in front to Budish for a chance. I think Marshall's skills are suited well for wing.

The Gophers are getting a lot of shots from the point today.

Re: Game Thread: Canisius at Minnesota
I saw a Tampa Bay Lightning scout here today, likely watching goalie Adam Wilcox who was drafted by the team No. 178 overall in 2011.

RE: Game Thread: Canisius at Minnesota
Gophers up 1-0 after the first period.
14-8 shot advantage.
I thought Rau, Haula and Parenteau played hard/well that first period.

RE: Game Thread: Canisius at Minnesota
1-0 after one period. Canisius stepped up their play and had a couple decent chances. After such an early goal I wasn't sure if they'd be able to respond and they have managed to head into the locker room only giving up that early score.
