I, smell an upset.  Tom Crean teams tend to stuggle away from home.

My goodness Victor Oladipo looks good. If the Twolves have a chance to draft this kid, they better do it.

Watching Indiana take the court just reminds how good it is for the Big Ten and college basketball in general when the Hoosiers are a top team.

Cody Zeller is just a massive man. he is going to dwarf whoever has the unfortunate task of going against him for the tip-off.

And Mbakwe wasn't even close to winning that. Indiana starts the game with the ball.

Pretty solid turnout for the start of the 6 pm start.

Oladipo drains a jumper to give IU a 2-0 lead.

The Gophers get two offensive boards and a bucket. Then steal it from Zeller on the next possession. Tied 2-2.

Mbakwe hits a LONG two to give Minnesota the lead. Indiana misses on the other end and Zeller fouls as he goes for the loose ball. Great start for the Gophers.

Great feed to find Mbakwe down low who puts it away with a huge dunk. Gophers up 6-2 now as Oladipo is fouled on the floor.

Student section just loving the start by the Maroon and Gold.

Rodney gets in the lane and hits a floater over Zeller. Crean takes a timeout and the Barn goes nuts. 8-2 lead for the Gophers with 16:46 to go in the half.

Nice job by Minnesota to get the crowd into the game early on. Will make things a lot more difficult for the Hoosiers if the Barn keeps rocking.

Sniper Jordan Hulls silences the crowd a bit with a quick three. Gophers still up three.

Rodney hits a weird runner through the line and the lead is now 5.

Hulls hits another three to cut it to two. Rodney misses his second deep ball of the game but Mbakwe cleans up the boards and gets fouled. Gophers rebounding well early.

Mbakwe makes the first and the second. Lead is now 12-8 in favor of MN.

Mbakwe wrestles an offensive rebound away from Zeller and scores down low. The sixth-year senior already has 10 points.

Mabkwe with a HIGHLIGHT-reel block on Zeller as he goes for the dunk.

Dre scores and the roof is about to come off.

Zeller looked like he was going to put Mbakwe on a poster and Trevor rose up and swatted the ball, knocking Zeller to the floor in the process. What a huge play by Mbakwe to electrify this crowd.

Gophers lead 16-12 after a pair of IU free throws.

Elliott fouls Zeller as Oladipo hits a three. Bucket will count and Indiana will get the ball. Tough break for the Gophers. Hoosiers down 1.

And now the Hoosiers lead by 1 as the Hoosiers hit a jumper.

Hulls is on fire as he nails another three on some poor defense by Elliott. Hulls already with 12.

Indiana makes a run to retake the lead, 20-16. Not sure why Tubby took Mbakwe out after that hot start. I would guess he had to have been tired being that the Gophers were dominating with him in the lineup.
