Oto Osenieks

What are your opinions on Oto?  I feel that he is totally outclassed by the opposition, not only in the B1G, but in D-1 basketball as a whole.  He has yet to show that he can contribute anything to this team.  He was supposed to be the outside shooter who was going to come in and replace Blake Hoffarber as the deep threat on the team, but he has done nothing but airball open shots, and show no ability whatsoever, to be able to defend his opponent.  Why isn't Wally Ellenson getting his minutes?

How long will it be before Oto transfers?
Will he likely be "encouraged" to transfer?

Right now it just seems to me as if he is not developing as a basketball player on this team.

Don't think we've really seen enough of him to pass judgement.  Just a sophomore averaging around 10 minutes a game and roughly 3 points and 2 rebounds. And really shooting wise his 3's just aren't falling.  Though you can argue that it's tougher to get into a groove when you're getting 2-3 minutes here or there.  So ultimately unless he starts playing for 5-6 minute stretches and still isn't shooting well I find it hard to pass much judgement on his play.
Shhh..... My Common Sense is Tingling.

Totally agre with you. Oto hasn't shown anything in multiple games, on offense or defense.

I just don't think you can give him 5-6 minute stretches when he basically throws the game while he's in there.  Even when we played teams like Northeast Western South Dakota State Tech, he just looks completely lost to me.
