Game Thread: American at Minnesota
Can't believe no one has posted this yet! THE SEASON STARTS TONIGHT, FOLKS! The march to March begins right now. Tip is at 7, but there is no TV. It is on the radio for sure, though.

Haha came to post this thread so I could put it in the story and was pleasantly surprised to see it was already started. Good work, Beast.
We will be live tonight from Williams Arena to bring you the action in the Gophers' season opener. Should be a really solid game!

I wish they were at least on ESPNU or ESPN3 so more people could watch them. Can't really tell for sure from across the arena but I believe I see Henry Ellenson, brother of current Gopher Wally Ellenson. Henry is a big-time recruit, already holding a handful of offers from top programs. |

Gophers are playing fast on defense, forcing turnovers that are leading to easy points. Tubby couldn't ask for a better start from his team.

AU makes a three which is answered by another bucket by Rodney. Gophers steal the inbounds pass and Austin is fouled shooting.
He makes the first as Big Mo and Julian Welch enter the game for Elliot and Austin who makes both. 19-3 Minnesota.
