Scout.com to stay

As some of you have probably seen, FoxSportsNext is getting rolled back and we will be moving again to the Scout.com network. This means that we will continue to post stories and use forums on minnesota.scout.com.

There were too many initial bugs with the new site, prompting Fox to decide to wait on implementing the redesign which likely won't take place until after Signing Day.

We apologize for the inconvenience that the temporary switch to FoxSportsNext has caused. GopherDigest hopes a return to Scout.com will be easier and more beneficial for users.

RE: Scout.com to stay

This is for the best. They now know what kinks need to be worked out on the new site and its probably not the best time of year to roll out a new site with rectuiting for football and basketball heating up and hockey season about to begin (not as big of a deal nationally obviously). Once the site has the big bugs wrinkled out I think we all saw that it is probably more visually appealing.

I know. I thought it was going to be a sad end to a long run for me, but luckily, it continues a little longer.

After checking my profile to see how long I've been on here, my 4 year anniversary is actually in 5 days! biggrin

Re: Scout.com to stay

part of me kinda misses the new design. if they can figure out the bugs and make the sites seem a little bit more unique and less like small little divisions of fox sports, then it will work.

Re: Scout.com to stay

It's nice to see the old scout forums back in business, as the Fox Sports Net launch was a huge failure. I'm glad our voices were heard and I hope Fox does better the second time around. I heard Fox Sports Net will try a site change against after college football signing day in February, but I hope Fox keeps this current scout format for their forums.

Nice to have this site back for now.

I think this topic is titled wrong though, its not here to stay...as you say, foxsports will likely overtake it after signing day.
