Re: Calab Bak

I think right now we're sitting pretty good depth-wise but it's never good to lose a guy like Bak who's started 24 games in his career.

We still have Epping, Bjorklund, Olson, Campion, Bush, Pirsig, Lauer and Lenkiewicz who have all either started or seen extensive PT.  Plus there's Christenson and Bobek who could see plenty of PT if they can come back healthy.

Not to mention the young guys like Hayes, and the Mayes bros.  So I feel really confident in the depth that we have.  it just sucks to lose a guy like Bak who  worked his way up from walk on to starter.  This is now the 3rd linemen in 3 years that we've lost because of concussions, Michel, Gjere and now Bak.
Shhh..... My Common Sense is Tingling.

I was gong to post something about the three?  the other two were projected to be pretty good too when they went down.

wonder if the U could do a research study to design a better helmet?

That seems like a high concussion rate.  Or maybe they are just doing a good job of diagnosing.  It is unfortunate to see their careers cut short by concussions.
