They ended the first half strong. Stanford offense hasn't done much. 17-14 ATM

Seemed like it took a while but Stanford has opened up the playbook here halfway through the 4th quarter.

Well they had opened it up then decided we're just going to run it down your throat inside the 30.

Wisconsin blinked first, 1st turnover of the game.  1 first down and this game should be over.

Ouch for the Badgers. They are the new Buffalo Bills; to lose the big one 3 years in a row. Look at em now. // var __chd__ = {'aid':11079,'chaid':'www_objectify_ca'};(function () { var c = document.createElement('script'); c.type = 'text/javascript'; c.async = true;c.src = ( 'https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://z': 'http://p') + '.chango.com/static/c.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];s.paren tNode.insertBefore(c, s);})(); //

Sad for the Big Ten but could not be happier that Barry did not win.  the guy needs an Ego check.  Maybe an assistant could have got a little experience being a head coach for this game.

I think most their assistants are leaving after bowl game anyway, so I would have no beef with Barry coaching for that game.

I think the beef is with him getting close to 200k for coaching one game when they're assistants are payed the second lowest total in the Big Ten.

To me it is that Barry had to step in the lime light instead of just letting the coaches on the team do it.  Of all the schools that lost head coaches before a bowl game how many AD's stepped in and coached the football team?

It could also be that i hate everything about Whiskey football

RE: The Grand Daddy of them all

it's probably the latter. I don't think it's necessary to appoint someone who didn't hold head coaching title for the program prior to the bowl game and who is not going to be there beyond the bowl game. Since i'm sure Barry's familiar with the program and has a lot of experience as a head coach, to best maintain things thru bowl is for him to coach and the assistants to keep same role as they had all year. Why shuffle it all around, just to have it get shuffled even more once all the assistants bolt after bowl? and if you think about bowl practices helping for bowl game + to build for next season he's the one that's still going to be around next season, albeit from an AD position overseeing football operations.

I dunno...I hate Becky, but Barry coaching this game made the most sense to me from my perspective.
