RE: New Commit
Like I posted in the premium board, this commitment fills a big need at linebacker for Minnesota. Huge pickup from a great athlete who played WR and OLB in high school. Lots of upside.

Re: New Commit
Tons of potential. Already has the size and athletic ability. He seems like he likes to hit people too, so that's always good. Looking forward to watching him at LB.

Re: New Commit
I heard some rumors that this kid had a lot of interest, but some top teams backed off because of academic concerns...isnt that the type of kid Kill usually stays away from?

I think Kill tries to stay away from guys with character concerns. The grades part the staff seems to be able to handle just fine. We had the second most academic all B1G with a team of mostly Brewster's guys yet and Brew took tons of chances on guys with some concerns and got bit quite a bit.

RE: New Commit
Great Get, we needed a LB in this class! Kill will keep his player's inline academically, he has proven that already.
