We had a very good week in the recruiting picking up a few commitments.

so the question becomes with the few scholarships we have left what areas do you wnat Kill to go after?

1 x RB
1 x MLB

Like to get
1 x TE
2 x WR
1 x OL

then fill out with athletes

would love to get a few WO's that will contruibute.

and it might be time to ask how many scholarships are available And Brobek is taking one so I put him into this class and treat him like a JC recruit.

I think i remember we had about 15 scholarships but with Gjere's retirement and others leaving it must change a bit.

We need talent, wherever it is.

Positional needs though, would be linebacker, RB, and interior Dline...I think we should also give out a scholarship offer to a reliable kicker. Our kicking game has been ridiculous this year.

too many kickers on scholarship to offer more until they are freed up.  hawthorne and a punter have one correct?

Not sure, but when kicking and punting is such an obvious need, I dont think it matters if you already have a guy or two with scholarship there.

I dont remember a season ever, where I started to realize how important a kicker is, and just didnt take it for granted that kickers should consistently get you 3 points when you get inside the 30 yard line, or that punters should be able to kick with some accuracy and power.

I don't think Edwards, Dixon, or Foreman are coming here, sorry. Plus, I think Jarmon's scholarship offer may have been pulled, just because Carter committed and they were two similar WR's. I think it was whichever one wanted it first got it, and the other would be left out.
