KU refs

KU refs
Is there a contact person for Big 12 referees? They very well may have cost us the Big 12 title tonight in the KU game. If they didn't tonight, they did in the game against OSU. Something is fishy in the Big 12 every time KU plays. We need to start a petition or something.

Dude seriously? Iowa State choked ... again.... they should never had let KU back in up 5 with 37 seconds left? thats a pure choke job. Petitioning wouldn't do any good...CBS and ESPN own the refs. Brent, Dick, and the rest of these guys couldn't jerk off if KU, Duke and any number of Big East/Big 10 teams didn't make it to the Final Four.
But let's be clear...ISU didn't choke, they got hosed.

Seriously? In the last 40 seconds, the refs blew Whitey's fifth foul, send KU to a line on a scrum, missed an obvious charge on an out-of-control Johnson and then made the insane call on the floor.
Yeah, clones could have handled it better, but refs handed KU a game they lost.

You are officially a dumbass if you think ISU just choked in the last 37 seconds. A dumbasss. That was the worst, most one sided, horribly officiated last 3 minutes of game I have ever witness in my life. ISU hit shots to win the game. Withey not getting his 5th - hell even he walked over to the bench because he knew it was his fifth foul. Yet the refs let him play the rest of the way. Then the last 5 seconds? It has been a sham for years... I'm not surprise by the refs at all tonight. They hand deliver at least a couple games a year to KU.

A couple breaks towards KU doesn't seem like much when you talk about it later, but in truth, just 1 point would've made the difference in the game. KU was handed this game, again.... |

How many times in this season alone has ku been bailed out by the refs? I love the game of basketball, but refs controlling the outcome is one of the reasons I hate basketball. Withey not fouling out and no charge/blocking foul at the end of reg.- what a joke.
This crap has gotten me to where I seriously do cheer more for a ku loss than a ksu win.

Who cares what KU fans think? It's a given they'll feel like the calls were 50-50 like always... , not matter what, give and take. They won't ever understand until they're in March Madness, when being KU doesn't mean anything. Just like Bradley, VCU, Northern Iowa, and Bucknell... 1/2 the time it all catches up to them in the end, for an epic Upset when the refs officiated it equally.

Just flipped to ESPN News and the highlights were on and Withey was never set at all on that dribble hand-off play for Elijah's three to cut it to 87-85. It is actually comical. It is nothing close to a legal screen.

I guess K-State will be playing Oklahoma St. for the Big 12 Championship to end the season.
- It's obvious that the Chickens are in the WWE, where it is decided who wins before they are played (I'm sick of the refs doing this).
It's crazy how some players can run over people with no consequences, foul 10 times with one guyr, and get most of the questionable calls.
Only one team, their fans, and their refs seem to think that is ok...

It's a strange game when a team that attempts 41 threes shoots 7 more free throws than the other team.

Anyone who thinks it's as black & white as who has more fouls should stop watching basketball. As the announcers pointed out there were game changing calls, that weren't even made at all.

There were bad calls throughout the game on both teams and ISU should have never been in that situation at the end of regulation but the fact is that KU got 3 calls go their way when the game was on the line. We aren't even talking about that charge if Withey was called for HIS foul because he was the one who kept the ball alive.

Of course not but you rarely see a team that did nothing but take jump shots get to the line 34 times in a game. ISU attempted 29 shots inside the arc all game long. KU, the bigger more physical team, took 43 shots inside the arc yet had 7 fewer ft attempts. Very strange.
