What about Big 12 Network?

It wouldn't make much sense for it to just on a channel none of our fans can watch, when every other Big 12 game is on TV...

I think that if you don't get LHN, you are SOL for Saturday. I'm not happy about this.

RE: Texas game TV?

As far as I can tell, TCU @ Texas and K-State @ Texas are the only conference games shown exclusively on LHN. With other LHN games there were options to watch on regular ESPN channels.

My understanding is exclusive showings of two conf. football games and two conf. BB games/yr  are all the LHN promised their fans when they signed up....the rest are non-con and repeats. noidea

Re: Texas game TV?

No other network is allowed to air any game that is broadcast on LHN exclusively.  It is available on Cox, U-Verse, Verizon and Grande, But that is because those are the companies that carry LHN.

If you have LHN (channel 272 on Cox) then you will be able to watch the game.  If you do not have LHN then you will be able to listen to the game on the radio.

Its just unlucky that it is our game that is the one being broadcast on their network.  Next year it will be someone else.  Unless this is just Texas's way of getting back at us for owning them in football.  Anyone think they purposely chose the KSU game to piss off K-State fans.

I have LHN and have never ever watched it, looks like it's finally gonna pay off.  Still feel everyone else's pain though.

What do all K-State fans and most KU fans have in common...........They didn't graduate from KU.

I have Cox so I get the game and I realize my problem with this is far more trivial than some others, but what the hell?  No HD?  banghead

RE: Texas game TV?

I'll be darned, I just checked and I do get the LHN, seldom do I venture to the SD channels.
I think it sucks that KSU fans will be deprived of the game do to Texas greed. ALL league games
should be televised in both teams viewing areas.

The Longhorn Network is often available on Cox in the Manhattan area via their "Sports and Information Pak" on Channel 272.

Re: Texas game TV?

I would imagine that most sports bars would have it; that is if they have a top-tier sports package thru their satellite provider.  I wonder if ESPN3 will have it, and if fans may be able to watch it that way online?

Kinda pissed about this but not enough to pay for that garbage channel. And fortunately for me, I will be in STL this weekend and my father-in-law has AT&T U-verse and the LHN.

Bigger question: will we ever see the OU @ UT or the ku @ UT games on this garbage channel? Probably not!....which will be BS!
