Reeve Koehler on Lawrence and Manhattan

"Lawrence Kansas to me, it was just a pretty shocking factor that it wasn't like Manhattan, Kansas. It was actually pretty nice. It felt pretty close to home".

Come on you guys, let's build him up and give him the affirmation he is looking for.

Was he talking about the power plant north of Lawrence?  Very scenic.

How sad.  You would think with it being basketball season a jayhawk fan would not have to resort to posting something that screams inferiority complex.  disbelief

Town smack talk always makes me giggle...I can't help it. Bedhead seriously needs to live outside the state of Kansas for a while and gain a little perspective.  I wonder if he feels that Salina is better than Hayes or if Newton is better than Dodge City. pirate

Seriously, anyone that thinks there is THAT much of a difference between two similarly sized cities in northeast Kansas needs to get out more.

Believing when a guy from Hawaii says that Larryville or even Manhattan for that matter, was "pretty close to home" indicates some serious gullibility issues. Could be also be an idicator why he was offered a scholly there and not to KSU. You can't "coach up" stupidity.

Lawrence just has more over priced drinks and that reminded him of home.

Moran, Bronson, Uniontown, Elsmore and LaHarpe -- now those are beautiful southeast Kansas communities.
