DeMarcus Cousins finally gets to show off that giant watch that Calipari gave him three years ago.

LOVE the Warriors going back to "The City" uniform style. So much better than the lightning guy.

They took Udoh.

Edit:  Stuart Scott describes him as the "highest" Baylor player ever selected.

******* Warriors. They're such morons. I think I'll probably just give up being a fan. What's the point? First they try to win games down the stretch, falling a spot or two in draft position leaving them picking 6th in a 5 team draft. Then they take a likely bust they could have had at 8 or 9 at 6.

From the Basketball Prospectus guys:

Bradford Doolittle: If Monroe is off the board, Aldrich would be a perfect fit for Utah, as long as Jazz fans don't confuse him with Greg Ostertag and start a riot.

Udoh will definitely be a bust. He's still raw at 23, a horrible sign.  I haven't read any source that views him as a top 6 player. Every place I saw that forecasted the W's taking him at 6 noted that it would be a terrible pick. My only hope was that it was a smokescreen.
At the very least they should have traded down since he could have been had at 9 or so.

Anybody else notice how Calipari just declared this the most important day in Kentucky history.  Seriously...he's been there 1 year and he thinks he can do that?  How full of himself is he?  Nevermind being the first to 2000 wins (assuming it stands of course), or all the championships.  A bunch of freshmen who didnt even make the final four, only went to college for one year because they had to, and probably already don't give a rats ass about Kentucky anymore are about to get drafted.  Yeah, this must be the most important day in Kentucky history because John Calipari says so.

A 23 year old project is a bust.
Look at this list of most comparable layers for likely first rounders. Udoh=Loren Woods. Ugh.

Being drafted by the Clippers is equal to being in the witness protection program.
