If Heeney in trouble...Fess up Phogies: Any DUI's or Fights?  (4 votes)
Whether it's Ben Heeney, or anyone else on our sports teams...I read about these kids getting busted for pot or DUI or getting in a fight...Today's Microscope is beyond the comprehension of an 80's foggey like me...I mean, selling crack, or hitting women or armed robbery are one thing, but a little smoke or getting pulled over? Let's be honest with each other...Isn't that part of college?
I'm just curious (probabaly a better poll question I guess), given our anininmoty, how many of us have been
- Convicted of a DUI
- Arrested for a skirmish/fight
I am affirmative on both...
Let ye without fault cast the first stone :)

Nothing more than warnings and parking violations. They let the bar fights slide much more in my college days. As long as nothing was broken in the bar they let it carry on outside without calling the cops. Most of my friends were too high to be violent anyway.

no dui
too many fights that cops were called in. dumb part of my life. never got arrested though.
yes I was on a college team. wouldn't call me an athlete though.

Fights, sure, but not when I was under 21. If I snuck into a bar, I kept my head down and my mouth shut.

Really to allow one to chuck a stone on the DUI item, it would need to be have you ever driven after drinking enough that you shouldn't have driven? Getting caught isn't what makes it wrong. Unfortunately I have to answer yes to this one.
