We have been competitive in EVERY game besides the OU game. Weis comes in and takes over for the worst D1 coach to ever walk a sideline and despite our putrid record we are 1000% times better than we have been the past few years...and this is year ONE.  Weis may not end up being our "Bill Snyder" but he has this program going back in the right direction and to all of you idiots who were calling for him to be fired after 2 games....go cheer for another team, you are NOT Jayhawks.  Rome was not built in a day.

Baby steps doucher. Last year we weren't playing any football. This year at least we are competitive in all but one game (even if one other game we sucked balls for a third quarter).

Right winking one game against a ******** team is so great. I don't want to be happy about being competitive against the likes of Texas Texh and Baylor. Should beat them every single time.

OU was the only true game where we weren't competitive at all. Baylor and Ksuck games got away from us in the second half, but we were neck and neck with those teams in the first half. Every other game on our schedule was competitive for both halves.

Enjoy your wins while you can, things will return back to normal here real soon when OB's can't coach anymore and inevitably keep KSU from being in the cellar pretty much on a yearly basis. I feel good about KU's progression although it doesn't show up on the W and L record. 

All we really need is a BCS level QB who can throw, and we may have that guy next year in Heaps, and a playmaker at the WR position in Justin McCay. I love what Campo is doing with the defense, once we get better talent in the secondary these next few years KU will be a good football team again.
