An Argument for IU at #1

Re: An Argument for IU at #1

From the CBSsports.com article:

The team and its fans were never this optimistic about the possibility of success under Kelvin Sampson or Mike Davis. And then you look at the Bob Knight years and realize the final decade was filled with underachieving teams that amounted to little in the NCAAs. That's two decades gone since IU men's basketball has seen this much hype. That's an accomplishment in itself.

Wow! It has been a while, hasn't it? Can't remember if it really felt that long, since IU has been viewed as an elite team, or if I just blocked it out of my memory.

I'd like to see any decent argument against it.   Who's better, deeper, and more talented than Indiana next season??

I've seen a few articles that had Kentucky number one. I just dont see how they can lose six guys and be number one.

Louisville fan here. I think IU should be ranked #1 preseason, However you could also make a strong argument UL. IU and UL are gonna be a notch above everybody else.

My top five:

1- Indiana
2- Louisville
3- NC State
4- Michigan
5- UNLV
