JaQuan Lyle

His 13-4 Evansville Bosse team is playing Evansville Harrison (18-1) tonight, and the game was moved to North's gym to accommodate an expected huge crowd.  Tom Crean and Rick Pitino were expected to be in attendance.

JaQuan Lyle missed the team bus, and did not play.  Not sure how the game turned out.

RE: JaQuan Lyle

Saw a comment on Peegs that Lyle was spotted at the concession stand rocking an OSU hoodie. Was that possibly for Coach Crean's edification, or for Pitino's?

The plot thickens, also. The story now being circulated involves a fight at school today and a suspension. The "missed the bus" story may have been a red herring.

The tweet from Lyle about missing the bus has now been deleted from his Twitter.

From the Evansville Courier & Press on-line, fan comments:

Thugs may not be what I would call all the Bosse boys but Lyle throwing a boy across the cafeteria and getting suspended from school and (not) being able to play tonight is what I would call a "thug".

Final score, Harrison over Bosse, 78-60.

Wonder what Coach Crean is thinking....possibly....

Game report here from the Evansville Courier, but without a lot of color--"suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules".  His coach implies that it's his (the coach's) decision as to when Lyle comes back.

The Comments section has been disabled, but I'll bet there will be more to hear on this one:
