Wasn't the downfall of this board due to Ken posting the personal information about another member? Apparently Ken couldn't take the heat of a debate and resulted to releasing the personal information of another member. It looked as if he abused his authority as a monitor to gain access to that person's information. Decker and the Fourth had no choice but to make some tough decisions. How would Ken feel if someone posted his personal information?

I post over on HSN but this lock down is too much. It remains open after a win but shuts down after a loss to a rival.

I'm debating whether to call your post blatanly wrong or simply idiotic.  The lock down has nothing to do with the 'heat', but is related to a server issue because SO MANY FANS ARE USING THE FORUM. 

In regards to the personal information issue you raised, yes, it happened.  No, it's not an issue on the other board.  It's important to note that BOTH parties, the alleged offeder and the alleged offended are active participants in the new board. 

That's right, the offended party was so damaged by the 'colossal' transgression you referenced that he followed the alleged offender (and virtually everyone else) to the new board.

The guys remaining on this site have their own reasons for not moving to the new board and that's fine.  They can continue to enjoy discussing IU basketball here.  But, don't spread false info like the 'lock down' crap without having the facts straight.

No no no......Haven't you heard they're having a 'Bot' problem? You know the one that only effect their basketball forum, none of the others?

Maybe that's because.......you know..... 'SO MANY FANS ARE USING THE FORUM'  (They're the only internet site that has a lot of fans posting).

You can't even see what their 'elite' members are saying without joining. What a bush league attempt to get more members to sign up.

Actually, there's a super secret handshake and a encrypted password that is handed out to anyone deemed worthy.  You may be 'NearTheSummit', but alas you ultimately fall a little short of qualifying for membership.
